Every boat gets an offer.
A ten-day window. Real, deposit-backed offers. A real answer at the end.
Looking for a straightforward way to buy your next boat — or sell the one you have? Accepta runs live offer events: the dealer lists a certified boat with a minimum price, qualified buyers place offers in a ten-day window, and everyone can see the competition in real time. No listing that sits for months. No haggling in a boatyard.
Get qualified once. Offer with confidence.
Creating an account takes a minute. Placing an offer takes one more step: a refundable deposit hold on a card — $1,000 on most boats. That hold is what makes every offer on the board real. It's never charged unless you win and then walk away; it's released the moment the event ends if you don't win, and applied to your purchase if you do.
Once you're qualified, you can see everything the dealer has on the boat: the inspection report, engine hours, service history, photos and video, and every question other buyers have asked — answered publicly, so nobody gets information you don't.
- Inspections and water tests are scheduled through the dealer before the window opens
- You can attach a condition to any offer — “subject to survey” — and the dealer sees it before accepting
- An offer in the final ten minutes extends the window ten minutes, so no one wins by being last

Ten days, start to finish.
Listed & certified.
The dealer lists the boat with a minimum price, photos, and inspection details. The event dates are published up front.
The window opens.
Qualified buyers place offers. Everyone sees the leading offer and how many offers are in. You can raise yours any time before the close.
Accepted.
When the window closes and the minimum is met, the dealer accepts the leading offer. It's binding on both sides — that's what the deposit is for.
Closed & delivered.
The balance is paid by bank transfer through Accepta, the dealer handles title and paperwork, and you take delivery at the dealership or arrange transport.
Some boats have a Buy Now price.
If a dealer sets one, a qualified buyer can take the boat at that price and end the event on the spot. The deposit and buyer premium rules are the same; the only difference is you don't wait ten days.

Proven on the floor at Monahan's Marine, Weymouth MA — moving boats since 1961.
After the window closes.
The leading offer is checked against the minimum and any conditions the buyer attached. If it clears, both sides get a confirmation email with the numbers and next steps. The buyer's deposit is applied and the balance is due by bank transfer within 5 business days; the dealer is paid through Accepta once it lands.
Sellers on consignment are paid within 14 days of closing. Buyers get the boat's location and delivery options as soon as payment is confirmed. Title, registration, and paperwork run through the dealer — the same way they would if you had bought the boat off the showroom floor.
If the minimum isn't met, nothing happens: no sale, no fees, every deposit released. The dealer can accept the high offer within 48 hours, run another event, or move on.
